On April 25, 2015, an earthquake of 8.1 magnitude, struck the nationof Nepal proceeded by a series of aftershocks, respectively 7.3 and 6.7 magnitude, followed by 417 aftershocks of 3 magnitude and above. results left the countrytotalling 5 billion dollars in damage with a death toll of over 9,000, and 23,000 injured civilians.
